Misinformation can lead to poor health choices and potentially harmful outcomes. At Quitwise, we recognise our responsibility to provide reliable, evidence-based information that you can trust and act upon with confidence.

What constitutes a reputable source of health and safety information?

We consider the following as reputable sources for inclusion on Quitwise:

  1. Peer-reviewed medical journals, trials, research and papers with no conflicts of interest
  2. Australian government health departments and agencies
  3. Recognized medical research institutions
  4. Leading Australian hospitals and healthcare networks
  5. Internationally-recognised health organizations
  6. Professional medical associations and colleges

Commercial entities (e.g. pharmaceutical companies, private health & wellness brands, and similar) are not considered for health and safety information and any content originating from these is not considered for inclusion on Quitwise.
